THE TIME HAS COME!
This year we will again be calling loud and clear for the abolition of animal slavery and exploitation, and will demand an end to breeding, farming, fishing, and slaughter.
Meat consumption causes more suffering and death than any other human activity and is completely unnecessary.
This is a conservative estimate of the number of aquatic animals killed worldwide:
31,710 (each second)
1,902,588 (each minute)
1,000 billion (each year)
This is conservative estimate of land animals killed worldwide for the appetite of humans:
2,029 (each second)
121,766 (each minute)
64 billion (each year)
On Saturday, June 14, 2014, be part of an historic international day to denounce the injustice done to all nonhuman victims of human oppression and exploitation. Join us in a peaceful march through the streets of Toronto to close down all slaughterhouses.
Compassionate citizens are mobilizing to engage communities in the Meat Abolition movement. So far, Paris, Toulouse, Toronto, Montreal, New York, Los Angeles, Sydney, Berne, Kassel, Istanbul and London and have confirmed their participation. Join this historic and international march!
